I has write a new song! :D This is the first song I've written all by myself in months (guitars and lyrics) and the first song I've written that I actually like. Escape encapsulates what I feel about depression and the desperation to do something--anything--to get myself out of that funk. Lately I realized that traveling gives me a vacation from life and from myself, but it's a vicious cycle really. The happier I am when I'm traveling, the more depressed I get when I have to return. For obvious reasons I couldn't exactly drag Kristel over to my place to record, so I'm doing this singing here. Please don't expect much out of my voice; there's a reason why I'm doing back-up vocals. :P Oh, and we've decided to retain the name Borderline Virgins although Kimi, our original bassist, will be sorely missed. I think this is one of the most beautiful things she has ever written and I'm glad I was able to come up with an awesome guitar solo to match it.
